MJ Harden utilizes the most advanced digital aerial imaging system commercially available. The DMC imaging system, from Zeiss/Intergraph, simultaneously captures image data in panchromatic (grayscale), natural color (RGB), and color infrared (CIR) spectral bands. The DMC’s leading edge technology also improves clarity over traditional film imaging and other digital systems. It is capable of capturing imagery with ground resolution as small as 1.5" per pixel. The advanced 12-bits per pixel data capture provides dramatically higher radiometric resolution (4,096 levels of grayscale vs. the 256 levels in standard 8-bit), yielding a much wider tonal range. In map imagery, this means better visual detail throughout, and most noticeably at the extremes of highlight and shadow. This makes the images better suited for photogrammetric interpretation, analysis, orthophoto production, and general viewing. Aerial imagery can be acquired at various altitudes, based on the resolution and accuracy requirements of the assignment. MJ Harden can also provide GeoEye satellite imagery in numerous formats for locations around the world. Our extensive aerial and satellite image archive is available for use in change detection, for historical reference, and for custom photogrammetric processing and analysis. |
