MJ Harden Associates, Inc., a GeoEye company, offers a range of geospatial products and services to help you efficiently develop and manage your Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and to support engineering and development, documentation, and resources inventory applications. Our services are based on over 50 years of experience in aerial photography, photogrammetric mapping, GIS implementation and geospatial information technology development. This experience, along with our wealth of technological expertise, is the value behind the services we offer — from consulting and planning to implementation, maintenance and support. Whether you are engineering for growth and progress or updating existing GIS data, MJ Harden gives you the many advantages of the best geospatial technologies available. |

Digital Aerial Imagery of the highest quality is produced using the Zeiss/Intergraph DMC Digital Mapping Camera system, which captures
12-bit, multispectral imagery (b&w, rgb color, and color infrared).
LiDAR Elevation Data is captured using the Optech ALTM Gemini. This LiDAR system utilizes advanced "multipulse" technology to more
accurately and efficiently record elevation data, which is typically used to create digital terrain, elevation, and surface models.
Planimetric Maps are scale-accurate, vector-graphic overlays to base map images that indicate specific planimetric features on the
ground (such as roadways, structures, utilities, property lines, etc.).
Topographic Maps are scale-accurate, vector-graphic overlays to base map images that indicate the topography of the ground as depicted
by elevation contour lines.
Digital Orthophoto Imagery is produced by processing digital aerial image data to visually correct for distortion due to aircraft movement
and variations in the elevation of the terrain. "Ortho" images are typically used for asset management, engineering design, and as the base map image
foundation in GIS applications.
Remote Sensing Services, using MJ Harden’s high-resolution multi-spectral aerial imagery, have tremendous value for analysis applications.
The color infrared data provides information not seen in panchromatic or color imagery. Applications for color infrared imagery include: Environmental
Assessment, Agricultural Analysis, Forest Management, Disaster Assessment, and Right-of-Way Analysis.
Survey and Inventory Services utilize Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to capture survey data that is used as geodetic control for
our photogrammetric mapping projects. Volume inventories are conducted using aerial imagery and geodetic control surveys to calculate quantities of
bulk materials. MJ Harden also performs asset inventory surveys, collecting geospatial and other data about specific assets such as utility poles and
meters, water management assets, pipeline corridor features, and more.
GIS Consulting and Implementation provides efficient and affordable solutions to your geospatial data management challenges. From functional
requirements analysis through design, data acquisition/migration, system deployment and ongoing technical support, MJ Harden has the experience and
expertise to meet your current data delivery needs while preparing you for the future of GIS.
